Serpico soon invited him to assist in the shop, as Laino was a goldsmith, but there was one problem: Laino was penniless.The Rolex Submariner above, from around 1959, is the only known version with a double-signed dial issued by Serpico y Laino. It sold at Christie’s in 2013 for CHF191,000 (US5,900).
