For a long time I stayed away from buying t-shirts because I felt they were way overprice (I do spend tons on polos, sweatshirts, silk shirts, outerwear and sweaters in those brands. All of my polos are from Ralph Lauren purple label, polo, brooks brothers, and Burberry. I don’t know which ones I like best but I’ve had the Ralph Lauren polo ones for years and they still look good and fit well.

Burberry has a slightly higher price point and a cut clearly intended for overweight baby boomers; Lacoste isn't much better, with a fairly boxy cut and obnoxious branding, but I think it's the lesser of two evils here.
