The Omega is beautiful and if you like it more for any reason, go with it. You'll be the one wearing it. But the Rolex will typically hold value better and I think the all white metal is a bit more versatile than the two-tone Omega. I'd personally go with the 36mm with the same dial/bezel/bracelet. They wear much larger than the older 36mm . Case, Dial and Hands. The case of the Datejust is unmistakably Rolex. However, the Aqua Terra case is also unmistakably Omega. The Rolex Datejust comes in 36 mm and 41 mm (Datejust II, officially) sizes while the Omega Aqua .
