IMHO if you feel it's too small then it probably is, so try the 216570 instead and see how you feel PS: the Exp II on your wrist is actually smaller than 40 mm - Rolex round-up the size, as they do with some other models. The base of the Mercedes handset and the iconic bright orange 24-hour hand are painted black, which creates the famed “phantom” effect and gives the impression that the hands are floating above the dial. It’s a well-judged effort by Rolex; homage can easily come across as pastiche, but it doesn’t on the Explorer II, it just works.
